Where: The Wisehall, 1882 Adanac St.

Show Description: 8pm

The Talking Stick Festival emerged from this hit cabaret that provides performing opportunities for established and emerging Aboriginal artists from a range of artistic disciplines including music, multi-media, theatre, performance, and traditional singing. A best seller, the evening is full of surprises, drama, and laughs. See into our hearts. Share with us. And, get your tickets early!

Folk musician Art Napoleon hosts the evening. Performances by Hip-hop artist Brad Bellegarde a.k.a. InfoRed, special northern guests Nunatsiavut Drum Dancers, and Christie lee Charles who raps in her ancient Musqueam dialect. Full Circle Ensemble members perform solo pieces created during their graduate year of their 2-year training program with Full Circle. These developing Aboriginal artists who, attuned to and rooted in their traditions, explore their art and their voice with a range of performance techniques. Solo performances are performed by Jason Cyr, Michael Arthur Riel, and Stacy Da Silva.
